About us

Like many people I got into exness web trading showing dogs by showing horses.  I was attracted to the high stepping, long necked American Saddlebreds and Hackney ponies so no doubt that is the reason I was drawn to Dobermans  -  they had the same clean lines and showy ways.  The first points I ever handled a dog to were with my third Doberman – a four point Specialty Major from the Puppy Class.  I bred two litters of Dobermans, finished two dogs, and got a CD on two dogs.  The best thing about the Dobermans, aside from the dogs and the friends I made, was all that I learned about structure and movement.  The Doberman Pinscher Club of https://www.exness-trade.my/web America stressed breeding only the very best and being able to keep every puppy if you could not find good homes.  All of this meant my first litter was a much planned and studied event.  I still believe a litter should be the breeding of the best dog to the best bitch based on type, structure, and movement, coupled with the blending of bloodlines to create a pedigree that makes sense.

I decided to add a second exness web trade breed and was drawn to the Whippet – a dog that had those same clean, elegant lines.  I finished three of the first four Whippets I purchased but none are in my breeding program today.  It was when I purchased a linebred Mor Shor puppy dog, who became Ch Black Oak’s Bedazzled, ROM "Razz", that Andauer Whippets began.   I acquired a daughter of his  O’Clock Better Than Ever "Abbey" – and bred her to Ch Keencroft Eagle Wing (linebred  Mor Shor) to produce Ch Andauer Arbitrage, Ch Andauer Puts N Calls, Ch Andauer Keen Promissory Note, and Andauer Leveraged Buyout CD ROM.

The sisters from this Financial litter were bred – one to Ch Mor Shor Majestic Prince ROM, one to Ch Starline's Reign On JC ROMX, one back to their grandfather, Razz, but the future of Andauer came from the two litters out of Leveraged Buyout "Heart".   Even though she was shown only three times, Heart was dead-sound, had wonderful open sidegait, and beautiful structure.  From her litter by Ch Andauer Razzle Dazzle there were four Champions:  In A Heartbeat, Hearts Afire, Heart of The Matter, and Heart and Soul.  From her litter by Reign On three Champions:  Star Power, Star Struck, and Star-Spangled giving Heart an ROM.  I also bred Heart’s granddaughter Ch Andauer Somewhere In Time to Reign.  The bitches from these breedings, plus the bitch from the breeding of Ch Andauer In A Heartbeat to Ch Saxon Shore Amber Waves ROMX "Jason", are the basis for virtually every dog carrying the Andauer name today.

Recently I have brought in the Sporting Fields line with Am Can Ch Wenrick’s With Rhyme N Reason "Reason".  Reason is linked to Reign On’s sire and to Jason.  The decision to bring in a new bloodline has always been to strengthen a trait I felt was needed but each new addition is made with some link to an existing bloodline in our pedigrees.

Two dogs that were purchased strengthened these ties:  BIS Ch Riverchase Just Do It "Zach" and Am Can BIS Ch Brushwood Zoom of Tanglewynde "Zoom".  Both have strong ties to Amber Waves and Reign On, and Zoom is also linked to Sporting Fields.  Both dogs gave us a Best In Show and Zach was the sire of the 2001 Best In Futurity winner Ch Andauer Simply The Best.  This breeder/owner/handled win will live long as my best memory!

Litters are bred at Andauer to both improve our line and give us dogs to show.   All our dogs are pets first – we have no kennel and all our dogs are house dogs. In 2003 Scott Boyd joined the Andauer team and his help and expertise have been invaluable.  We have been able to travel to places and reach heights only dreamed of before.   In addition to Scott we have a close collaboration with Kathy and Aimee Rasmussen of Harmony Whippets and we often plan litters during our trips to shows together.
